Our highly qualified, energetic and skillful consultants are predominantly based in Sydney and Melbourne. Providing a professional service to our clients means that consultants are prepared and willing to travel to other capital cities within Australia as well as many regional locations.

As well as our core staff, we have ​a dedicated team in our Workplace Conflict Resolution division.

Catherine Gillespie
Managing Director

Catherine Gillespie brings a wealth of skill to her clients. With particular expertise in teaching communication and workplace conflict resolution skills, Catherine has made a marked difference to the organisations she has worked with. She empowers teams and managers to adopt constructive styles that support harmony, productivity and progress in the workplace. Catherine has a particular interest in Challenging Behaviours and High Conflict Personalities & Situations within the workplace.

As a qualified and Nationally Accredited Advanced Mediator, Catherine is able to support parties to more fully understand their dispute and work towards agreements for future workplace behaviours and interactions.

Always endeavouring to improve her skills, Catherine has attained several relevant qualifications including: Master of Workplace and Employment Law (Monash University, Faculty of Law), Master of Conflict Resolution (La Trobe University, Faculty of Law), Certificate in Professional Coaching (Coachcorp Pty Ltd), Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and a Bachelor of Education (Secondary – Maths & Physics, Deakin University). She is also an Accredited LSI/GSI Practitioner (Human Synergistics®), Conflict Dynamics Profile® Practitioner (Leadership Development Institute, Eckerd College), Team Management Profile® and Strategic Team Development Profile® Practitioner (Team Management Systems®) and an Accredited Advanced Mediator (LEADR Australia). Catherine is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Catherine has Extended Level 2 Accreditation in DISC, a psychometric assessment tool used for career and leadership development.

Whilst earning her Masters Degree in Conflict Resolution, Catherine was awarded the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence.

Catherine draws on her experience in international sport as both a netball player (Australian Netball Team – 1988, Vice Captain Aus U/21 Team – 1986) and Level 3 Nationally Accredited Coach (Head Coach – Malaysian Commonwealth Games Netball Squad – 1995/96, Mentor Coach, Malaysian Team, World Championships 2011, Singapore) and brings this facet of coaching, teamwork and excellence to her work in the corporate arena.

Her contribution to sport in Australia has led to her being the recipient of the Australian Sports Medal Award (for services to sport).

Matt Connell 
Executive Workplace Consultant

CPHR, BBus (HR Management) and Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment

Matt brings 12 years Senior HR management and Executive Director experience to Workplace Conflict Resolution.

After completing a degree in Management (Majoring in HR), Matt has worked in Community Services/Not for Profits, Local Government, Travel, and Hospitality. During this time, he has started HR/OD and People & Culture functions in various organisations, led Learning and Development teams, managed complex issues relating to IR, ER and EBA negotiations and has many years of experience leading highly engaged teams in challenging industries and environments.

Matt is passionate about developing constructive leadership capabilities in others so they may better empower, engage and enhance performance in their own team members.

As an accredited practitioner of Roche Martin's Emotional Capital Reports, he has coached hundreds of organisational leaders in understanding their impact on workplace cultures through facilitating self and 360 degree assessments of Emotional Intelligence and conducting feedback sessions that encourage learning, real change and growth.

Matt has been a Councillor of AHRI in Victoria since 2015 and manages the L&D professional network as well as two regional networks in Geelong and Gippsland. As a certified practitioner of HR Matt is a passionate advocate for the industry in this volunteer role.

Matt is an experienced public speaker and trainer and has completed the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. His experience and success in delivering leadership development programs has led to an opportunity to lead an experiential leadership program on the Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain.

Matt spent 7 years working in Adventure Travel at Peregrine Adventure and has worked and travelled in 6 continents driving zodiacs in Antarctica, taking tours to remote Aboriginal historical sites in Central Australia, walking the Kokoda Track and is looking forward to many future adventures.

Liz Potter brings to Workplace Harmony Solutions an extensive range of professional skills from many years’ work supporting a wide range of businesses, government sectors, and not-for-profit organisations. Liz has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Melbourne and is registered with the Tax Practitioners Board as a BAS Agent.

Elizabeth Ross-Bryant brings operational expertise to Workplace Conflict Resolution with many years of international and national experience. She has worked in the following industry sectors: education, insurance, energy, management consultancy, merchant banking, construction and local government. Elizabeth understands the varied perspectives of a Corporate Executive, a HR Leader and an Administrative Manager and what each role seeks to contribute to a business to ensure growth, compliance, risk management and financial prudence.

Elizabeth fully supports the premise that long term business operational success is built upon a sustained focus of strong people engagement, sound management strategies, and effective leadership.
